I believe in one God who created everything and holds all things together. He’s not distant or cold - He’s holy, loving, and deeply personal. God has always existed as a relationship - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and He invites us into that same relationship. Everything He does flows from love, and His heart has always been to rescue and restore His creation.
I believe the Bible is God’s invitation to know Him. It tells the story of His love, faithfulness, and desire to walk with us. Through it, God speaks - not just to inform us, but to form us. I trust Scripture completely because it leads me to Jesus, shows me how to live close to Him, and reminds me of His promises.
I believe we were created in God’s image to know and be with Him forever. But from the beginning, we chose our own way instead of His, breaking trust and bringing brokenness into the world. That same brokenness lives in all of us. But God didn’t give up on us - He made a way to bring us back through Jesus.
I believe Jesus is God who came to earth. He stepped into our world, lived a perfect life of love and truth, and gave Himself for us. He died for our sins, rose again, and now reigns as King - and also as our friend, our Shepherd, and our constant companion. He’s alive and present in my life today.
I believe Jesus took on the weight of all our sin and brokenness at the cross. He didn’t just pay for it - He defeated it. His resurrection opened the door for us to be fully forgiven, deeply loved, and brought back into life with God. This isn’t just a belief I hold - it’s a gift I’ve received.
I believe the Holy Spirit is the very presence of God with us and in us. He’s the one who awakens our hearts, comforts us, challenges us, and helps us become more like Jesus. He gives us new desires, new strength, and new purpose as we walk with Him each day.
I believe the Church is not a building but a family - those who know Jesus and follow Him together. We’re all different, but we’re united by His Spirit and His love. The Church is a place to worship, grow, serve, and be reminded we’re not alone. Jesus gave us baptism and the Lord’s Supper as sacred ways to remember His love and stay rooted in His story.
I believe God’s grace doesn’t just save us - it transforms us. Following Jesus means learning to love what He loves and live how He lived. It means surrendering daily, caring for others, standing up for truth, and choosing joy, even in the hard things. With His Spirit in us and His Word guiding us, we learn to walk in step with Him.
I believe Jesus will come again - not as a distant idea, but as a real hope. His return will set everything right and make all things new. That promise gives me urgency to love well, live fully, and share His goodness with others.
I believe God invites everyone into a restored relationship with Him, no matter who they are or what they’ve done. Our part is to turn toward Him, trust in Jesus, and walk with Him. One day, He’ll bring justice and healing to everything. Those who’ve said yes to His love will live with Him forever in joy and peace. That’s the story I live in and the hope I hold onto.
