Journey with Christ

Purpose

Grow in relationship with God the Father,
the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the Word.
Use the gifts he has freely given me to grow HIS Kingdom.

One step, one seed, one brick, one person at a time.

In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, charity.

My Statement of Faith

The following passage is becoming more and more a part of my journey message. First, accepting Christ as our savior and then these words. All else falls into place if we abide in this truth. The simplicity of it doesn't make it simple...

Matthew 22: 36-39

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’"

Psalm 37:7

Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Jason Everett

Our faith journey should include community and sharing the love of Christ with others. I believe that includes spending time with those you love and pouring into them the same way God pours into us.
